e102: Rico Suave

This week we’re back in full form with all three hosts! Modeps, Pwnophobia and Kragg are settling back into the year with some proper game news and releases. Pwn gives us an update on WoW: Cataclysm and we launch into a long diatribe about MMO’s, then all the talk about the grind gives way to Kragg’s obsessive trophy hunting and a conversation about Little Big Planet 2 and it’s predecessor. We chat about new features, and some of the cool levels our own community here on EvAv are creating. Then there is talk about Dead Space in all its forms, good, bad, and motion controller compatible. Finally Kragg explains why the best part of CODBLOPS is Smash TV. All this, your listener emails, and a rant about Mortal Kombat, on this weeks Shotgun!

e101: A Duet With An Occasional Chorus

We’re down one host this week, as Pwnophobia was too busy pumping iron to cast pods. So Modeps and Kragg carry you through this weeks happenings as a pair.
We’re still busy with our backlogs in the deepest part of winter, but there are some new games coming on the horizon. Modeps discusses the interestingly titled VVVVVV, along with budget racer Nail’d, and Kragg opens up a bit about beta testing new MMO Rift:Planes of Telara, as well as why Lost Planet 2 is now a solid bargain bin find. All this and Bulletstorm is going to ruin video games forever as an artform on this weeks Shotgun!

e100: The Horse Whisperers

We’ve finally made it to episode 100, and it’s the first show of 2011! To celebrate we’ve invited some very special super friends to guest host. Ben Kuchera of Ars Technica and Jim Sterling of Destructoid sit in with Jim, Adam and Ben to talk about LittleBigPlanet 2, what games we’re excited about for the new year, and how all game journalists are biased and paid off with dump trucks full of cash. We also explain to Modeps as a group why Final Fantasy XIII is terrible, and like any video game podcast worth it’s salt, we end with a graphic conversation about murder and bestiality. All this and your weekly releases on the c*ntennial edition of Shotgun!
